It's Disney Shoefie day over on the #FallintoDisneyStyle photo challenge, so it's the perfect time to talk about the new Disney x Vans collection that debuted on Friday!
My plan had been to head to my local mall to pick up a pair or two, but when I got the email notification from Vans on Thursday night, I couldn't help myself- I immediately purchased the Sorcerer Mickey hi-tops. They haven't arrived yet (just got my shipping notification this afternoon!), but I'm on the fence about keeping them- although there's a Sorcerer Mickey outline on the heel, I keep wishing they were more blatantly Mickey.
There are so many amazing designs to choose from- and not just shoes! There are hats, shirts, hoodies, jackets, and bags too! The Minnie shoes are fantastic and would be an adorable mother & daughter matching set (I didn't see them in store, but there are some awesome slides online too). And there is so much to love with the teal & pink collection. Plus, the customizable options online are fun- I spent too much time playing around with all the possible design combinations before deciding not to order them. Yet.
In the end, I went with what has to be the best option for wearing around the parks! Lightweight, comfortable, and I just love the all-over Mickey Mouse pattern.
Head to VANS.com/Disney if you haven't scoped out this collection already! If you already bought some or are planning to, let me know which ones in the comments!!
@Rio There is really no wrong choice!!
@Gary I hear what you're saying! I think I wish there was a red sorcerer hat on there with the stars. Maybe I can find something to attach to the shoelaces...
I actually like the Sorcerer Mickey hi-tops for the very reason that they are not overtly Mickey. More inconspicuous that way. Well as inconspicuous as one can be in blue shoes with stars all over the laces!
Great choice on going with the UltraRange ones!! I think for me, personally, I’d go with the black/red Old Skools from the Disney collection. If the Sorcerers Sk8-Hi aren’t your style, you can always look at the other Mickey collection that Vans dropped through their Vans Vault line (https://www.vans.com/article_detail/vault-disney-2018.html).
